Now then, Flush with pride after my latest creation (Sherman III) i've decided to build the Revell/Italeri Crusader III, that i got cheap from Modelzone. I've also decided to 'pimp' it up a bit by using an ArmourScale MkIII 6pdr barrel and an Eduard etch set i got cheap of ebay (£5 inc p+p) This is the barrel before the fitting of the counter weight. It also comes with a resin mantlet and Besa MG. The mantlet was a bit of a pig to get to sit straight. The inside of the turret. After about 2 hours of bending bits of brass and f'ing and blinding, i delved into the spares box for various bits n pieces to hang on the inner walls. The etch radio is rather nice don't you think? I need more practice with etch though, as the bits i've done look a little 'rough' If all goes to plan i'm doing his one as a tank from 6th Armoured Brigade in Tunisia 1943, in Bronze Green with red & white Armour flashes. More to follow soon ;D Comments welcome. Cheers, Steve
