I'm building HMS Suffolk for my father who served on her post war 45-46 and I need some advice on the colour of the metal decks.
Where they light grey, the same as her hull after she was repainted in pre-war colours, or where they a darker grey?
Dad thinks they were dark grey, but he's not certain.

In 1945-6, the steel decks would have been painted in AP 507A, Admiralty Dark Grey. We have that matched and available in our Colourcoats enamels: RN 01, AP 507A Admiralty Dark Grey No minimum order on paints, and we ship worldwide. Cheers, John Snyder White Ensign Models WhiteEnsignModels.com
