Howard Whitehead of Kitform Services, known for his series of 1/24 truck transkits and model bits and piecs, has just released a 1/24 multimedia kit of the Alvis 6x6 HMLC FV622 Stalwart Mk2. Mastered by our very own David Jane, the kit apparently is a superb rendering of an interesting subject. There are also other proposed kits in the pipeline including a Saracen APC, Saladin Armoured Car, Ferret Scout Car, Humber Pig and a complete Bedford MK 4 tonner kit. We've had various comments on here in the past about military subjects being produced in scales other than the normal 1/35, 1/72 and more recently 1/48, but how do you think this kit and the other proposed military kits will be received? ... and would you buy them? ... I'm looking forward to the 4 tonner!

Bedford MK 4 Tonner is a definite possibility for me, learnt to drive in one of those in Germany when the RAF were still over there.

Hi there Nick
Yep, yep, yep, yep!!!!!!!!!!
The one I want is the Bedford 4 Tonner full kit! I want one and need to know when Howard is hoping to release them cause this definitely one the wife and kids are buying me for all my birthdays and christmases rolled into one. So I had better start saving MY hard earned cash for the wife to squander on me personally for a change.
What price is Howard gearing the Bedford kit at roughly so I can persuade him to part with my cash early so he gets mine out first !!!!!!!!!
Not had the same connections with Stalwarts and Saracens, etc but I would love to add them to my collection for sure. Nige

Think thats a fair price when you look at the price of Accurate Armour kits.

Bet your looking at the £150-175 mark Looking at the quality of the 'Stolly', in my opinion it would be worth it, however, Howard is taking a big chance with this kit, I hope it pays off as it's the only way we'll see more.

Well looks like the stolly is being updated with the crane onboard too.
One of our group has the real thing and is doing it up, it was the last one made and Howard is doing the number plate from this stolly.
Much to the delight of us all.
