How? What as? Any problems? Any additions? Where can we see them? I've done a Starfighter, it'll be ramp-launched, Israeli and a bit different (but not too much) Several others are in the stash?

So far built the droid fighter and the St-Rt. Unlike you I build them straight. The St was a fiddle, it has to be said and in some areas I resorted to a spot of glue. The droid fighter was great and went together perfectly. Seems the art of injection molding has come on light years to reach this level of fit! Shame not all comapnies could follow suit. (Oh, was told Revell Germany had these molded in China. ! So much for German engineering then! )

Bought a Droid Fighter today while waiting for my bus home. Quite impressive. Not totally sure what to do with it yet when I build it, but with some careful scratch-building of the cockpit within the central pod, I think Luftwaffe could look impressive, as could RAF. I'll make up the various sub-assemblies tomorrow night at IPMS Stafford's meeting. Could be Iraqi I suppose? Or Chinese??

I think, having looked at this Droid Tri-Fighter, it could easily become VTOL. If so, this could become quite exciting ;D

The Droid fighter is now VTOl. ;D The addition of simple strutting at the rear end enables it to sit nicely. So far there's a Luftwaffe Desert camo one and a RAF one (probably) to follow.....but as it's 1/48th, could I sneak a RN version onto the quarter Scale Group stand? ;D

I've just started weathering the republic Star Destroyer. Goes together easily enough, but it hasn't got a stand, so I've had to get some brass rod and I'll pick up a nice base at SMW to sit it on. Mark
