Hi Guys, In times of difficulty with colors I tern to the experts in IPMS.
I have built this Westland Wessex from 1933. I fly it in FAI competitions but for the static part of our comps I have to prove the colors used.
The last missing part of my color proof is the Dark Blue or Oxford blue used by Imperial Airways in those years.
I need a Written and published, with the source, a sentence, anything really that states the Dark Blue used.
I have any number of artists impression, Also got Oxford and Dark Blue chips,just nothing in writing.
It is something that everybody knows but nobody proves.
