i have started this kit at last, i intend to build it as a historic touring car. it looks a nice model, in my opinion let down by the floorpan, which has a non standard rear. it looks like a dragster. my first job has been to remove the rear floor and replace it with a scratch built one. a bit more sanding to do , but its nearly there. i will make a start on the inside floor details next, as it will look like a bare shell, many of the details on the bottom will have to be reversed inside. then to make a roll cage. Attachments:

thanks for adding a note, i was thinking there was something wrong with my internet. on a brighter note, the floor did not include any details at all in that area, and the wheel wells would have taken tyres from a porsche 917 to fill them. so it just had to go. i would have hated looking at it when the model is done. i have also made a former to vac form a new transmission tunnel too, this is now fitted. the rest of it is quite good [img src=" ![]() farm9.staticflickr.com/8174/7949279456_80661edaab.jpg"] DSCN2360_01 by rgriffs, on Flickr[/img] |

stripes and roof done, in subaru blue (metallic ), what do readers think of the colour scheme. next job will be to cover all trim with bare metal foil (aluminium). it is supposed to be a lightweight car after all. Attachments:
