Here's a few photos of "Black 12", an Fw 190D with a somewhat tenuous reconnaissance connection - it was surrendered to the Allies at Furth, where the 10th PRG were based. Yes it's tenuous, and as I said in the last SIG newsletter, I promise I won't put it on the stand at Telford! [edit for typo]

Thanks John,
I have a preference for the long-nose D and the Ta 152 series, although I don't do many Luftwaffe models. What I also have a weakness for is the fun in recreating the "patchwork" late-war German schemes with which, it seemed, anything went - pre-painted panels in different colours, areas left in primer, etc. Given that I also like a subject with a story behind it, this one ticked many of my boxes.
