Fujimi 1:72 Phantom FGR2, complete with "Skyflash" pod - a converted drop tank - on the port wing. Unfortunately the model has not survived, it suffered Cat 5 damage on the way back from Telford where it took part in the special Phanton display some years ago - but I still have some photos. That looks very nice! it's a shame she went Cat.5 did you recover any parts like the pod for a rebuild?

Thanks John,
I didn't bother to recover any parts as I gave up building 1:72nd many years ago. However, it will be reprised in 1:48 eventually as I do have plans for an RAF recce FGR2 in 1:48, and even a set of decals for a 2 Sqn subject. In the meantime, I have the kit and the decals for a grey-and-white Alconbury-based RF-4C which I really must get around to.
