Tamiya Porsche 962

Hi Guys, well i bought this kit at SMW, intending to build it sometime next year, yesterday i decided to have a look in the box, i knew the body was one piece, with the screens ect left clear, imagine my suprise when i found that all the clear parts have a mould pip right in the centre, im just wondering if anyone else has this kit, and if my example is a on off, if it isnt how would you go about removing the pips, failing that i suppose i could buy another 956 kit and use the front end, any advice would be very much appreciated.

you are correct about the moulding pip. it's on all of the 962 models from tamiya. you could try removing them and polishing the glass up with micromesh. i am not certain that the 956 glass would fit. screen probably, but headlamp covers possibly not.
