All over the ship modelling blogs, Trumpeter have announced another Type 23, confrimed 2 RN and 1 RCN tribal, best of all HMS Belfast, as last an RN Cruiser in plastic in 1/350th.
Dreadnought in 1915 & 1918 as well, would have prefered a Collingwood or St Vincent, or even Iron Duke.
None the less a good start to 2013!

I've been reading about this - awesome news. Been hoping and dreaming for a good 1:350 Town class cruiser - definately going to be the top priority and next on the slipway when this is released, along with a super-detail set.

Well about time on the British WW II ships in 1/350. Trumpeter must be listening. Great news indeed.

What might have been better is an earlier Town class cruiser, which gives a lot of different ships that could be done. By doing batch 3 Town class, the option is only one ship that was sunk early in the war or one that missed most of it due to two and a half years to repair mine damage, although perhaps there would be an option for conversion to a post war 'Belfast' for Yangtze or Korean service.

Yep your right on the Town class Lioner mate. Lets hope Trumpeter or another manufacturer can come up with a town class in 1/350 some time soon. Plus a brit destoyer in this time zone. They seem to be makeing the modern ones. but not my scene. But time will tell.

Personally would have prefered Sheffield or Manchester, but If Belfast selles well there is always hope.
Also As the real ship still exsists I can see the logic.
