Just a reminder that the Lincoln & Newark Model Expo (aka The Southwell Show) takes place this Sunday at the Grandstand, Southwell Racecourse, NG25 0TS.
Exhibiting clubs, SIGs & Branches, more than 25 competition classes, lots of traders, first-rate grub (& licenced bar!)
Admission and parking free.
Public admission from 10 am. Show closes at 4 pm
Come and join us at one of the year’s friendliest events.

Hi Alfie,
The hall will be open from 0730, but we're asking exhibitors to arrive from 0815 onwards.

Hi ian , just to say it was by far the best attened your show has been in years , you must be doing something right , esp since we had a bad start to the day with the rain. Congratulations to all those who worked in the background all day . cheers ian

I'm glad I made the effort, it was well worth it! First time I'd taken my daughter to a show & she loved it, she now can't wait to get started on her first proper kit!!!
It looks like we're going to be taking over the dining table permanently!

I'm glad you all seem to have enjoyed the Southwell Show as much as I did. Can I take this opportunity to thank all the members of IPMS Lincoln & IPMS Newark who ensured the show ran smoothly, and all those modellers who displayed their handiwork on club and competition tables and made the show so spectacularly good! Particular congratulations to 'The 1/144 SIG', who won the very first 'Jim Balsom Memorial Trophy' for their excellent display.

Slightly belated, however I'd like to say we had a great time at the Southwell Show, I would also like to congratulate those involved in the organization of this event.
Only our second visit to this show, but we'll definitely try and attend again next year!
