I built this one a while ago and it has recently had a refurb after some light damage form a house move and storage . . . A conversion from the original 70's Airfix B6 with scratch built details and Aeroclub MB mk4 and early type mainwheels . . . . . . Dave, really nice subject and build, well done! What was the blue you used? PRU or similar? Hey there! Sorry I haven't visited here recently to make a reply! After much research in trying to find the correct blue I found a few candidates but nothing definite? It was described by the aircraft designer Teddy Petter as 'Cerulean Blue' this is a generic shade it would seem and not an exact colour? It was suggested it could be 'English Electric Blue' as used on their locomotives but again I couldn't find any compelling evidence? So I used the non scientific method and guessed! I went with 'Humbrol 89 Matt Middle Blue' All I can say for sure is it isn't PRU Blue as used on the Canberra T4 WJ847 marked in 1999 for the 50th anniversary of the first flight of the prototype . . .
