IPMS Ipswich Model Show - Saturday 23 June

It's not long now before we will be hosting the 2018 Suffolk Scale Model Show. This will mark our first year at our new venue, The Ipswich and District Indoor Bowls Centre, 136 Rushmere Road, Ipswich IP4 4JU. If you are displaying or vending at our show, set-up time is 08:00 AM on Saturday,23 June. Doors open to the public at 10:00AM and close at 4:00PM. Our vendors this year include Kevin Nunn from Brigade Models and Jon Page from Sphere Productions, so there will be plenty of opportunities to restock on kits, paints and accessories. In addition, there's bound to be a few bargains on the club stands, and don't forget our raffle containing some of the latest new releases. But that's not the only reason to come out and enjoy our show. There will be club stands with hundreds of built models on display and plenty of people to discuss our great hobby with. There will be on-site catering offering coffee, tea, bacon rolls and a lunch menu, as well as a fully stocked bar.

This year also marks the first year that we have teamed up with the Ipswich Transport Museum and local Model Engineer and Model Railway clubs to offer a full and enjoyable experience for you and your family. Should you wish to visit the other modelling events happening around the town, you can do so in style. A vintage bus from the Ipswich Transport Museum will be making regular stops at our venue to take you to the Transport Museum and Model Railway-related displays. Tickets will be available for all the attractions, to include transportation for a single fee of £9.50. Should you only wish to visit our show, the entry fee is £2.00. Children under 12 are admitted free, but they must be accompanied by an adult. We look forward to seeing you all there!
