;DI'd heard about Gundam Markers on another forum and thought they sounded a bit too good to be true. When Steve at hiroboy.com added them to his product range I thought "what the hell" and ordered the three colours he had. They arrived Saturday and I'm beginning to wonder what i did before them! The the three I have are Silver (sort of dull ish Alu), Chrome Silver (self explanatory) and Gold (likewise). All three are excellent and easy to use. The Chrome is clean and bright and compliments Alclad Chrome beautifully with the additional benefit of being able to apply it to small areas like bolt heads without extensive masking. The wheel in this picture has had the contrast colour added to the spokes and rim with the Gold and the boltheads on the brake discs with the Chrome. Try them you'll agree they're great! H

Ian, I have used 'Pilot - Silver Markers,' mainly the extra fine point ones, for chrome trim for some time. They are also available in gold but thats a bit ritzy for most of the models I build. Get them from Staples for around 1.50 English pounds.

Broadly similar product and a similar price. I just found that the Gundam ones seemed to flow the colour a little more evenly
