Some time ago I read a post on ARC suggesting the use of GW "Mithril Silver" as a natural metal. Tried it this evening. I thinned it with distilled water and some retarder, sprayed it through a Badger 155 onto a MiG-19, and it looks great. Tomorrow we'll see how it dries, and whether it can take making tape or can be buffed. So thanks to "Old Blind Dog" for the suggestion, all I can say is: if you like acrylics, give it a try.

Just used it on my Xnavia Nismo (car), as bare metal silver looks the part and can be masked, i thinned mine with Tamiya Acrylic thinners two to one, sprayed great from the airbrush. Dave
