hi all, I was looking at an old ciruit board and I suddenly saw that several of the components can be re used for our hobby as part of dioramas or for S/F etc it is up to your imagination , the main items are the capacitors they are round and come in many different dia and heights . Also square or oblong ceramic type . see the board I am stripping down for usefull compents . They can be used for bases for street lamps , bollards, dust bins etc . cheers ian  |

Hi I have all ready used one of the capacitors , pen barrel and part of a aluminium knitting needle and a pen clicp to make a lampost . when painted all that will be added is the lamp cover made from clear sprue or an altered pen part cheeers ian  |

OMG it takes someone to spot this stuff LOL. I work with electronic stuff all the time and in fact binned a whole load of defunct stuff not 3 weeks since DOH

I find the very thin copper wire thread in the tiny windings is useful and would suit all those wingy things for aerials, wiring and the like. Is so thin and seems to go on for miles when unwound.
