This is the classic model shop that I think most modellers, and collectors of all kinds, just love. A quiet place with stacks and stacks of kits piled to the ceiling with a good range of all kinds of popular and obscure kits and a good railway range, it's the sort of place you can loose yourself in for hours on end. Even the setting is top class as it's one minute's walk from the famous Worth Valley Railway, and you are welcomed into the shop by the friendly owners and their equally friendly resident pooches.

Went on Thursday, friendly owner as said. A dozen or more Italeri truck models hidden in the corner (but it's so crowded in there, everything is a bit hidden, great for discovering stuff around every corner!). I was hoping they may have had some old AMT kits but didn't see any. However as I was leaving, I was asked what I was after and although he didn't think so, he thought there may be something in his 'store', so I was taken to a terraced house around the corner where there is at least the same amount of stock again floor to ceiling in the 'front room'!!! So if you don't see what you want, ask!! ;D

Had a root around in there last weekend and found a 1:48 Tamiya Beaufighter (Mk VI) at a pretty good price, this was on my 'want' list so snapped it up. A nice little project for the seasonal break I think.
