What with the success and usefulness of the book thread, I am going to take my life in my hands with this suggestion......................

How about, recommendations about web sites that are informative, interesting and of relevance to aviation, military, modeling and general interest, (although I note the latter is catered for elsewhere on this site).

Please, no silly, frivolous or down right inappropriate ones........
