Dear All, Just got round to making a start on an unusual model, the Lockheed YO3A. Little known night/Reconnaissance aircraft, developed from a glider, the Schweizer SGS 2-32, for very quiet flight, at low altitude, at night, equipped with one of the first electro/optical turrets underneath, even had a laser designator, (although not used), used in Vietnam. Have a look here, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lockheed_YO-3www.yo-3a.com/home.htmlwww.aviastar.org/air/usa/lok_yo-3.phpwww.petester.com/html/AC011.htmlFascinating subject.....! One is still flown by NASA.
