Only have one model in process and that is an RB-57D. Model is the Classic Airframes 1/48th scale B-57. Conversion includes Engine nacelles increased in length / enlarged. Rear cockpit section removed and Cameras and electrontic boxes installed. New outer wing panels made to increase the span to 26 inches. These are balsa cores to be covered in plastic card. 3 Camera port fairings.

John Hi John Its going to be White top and black underneath. And finished as 53-3977 RB-57D-0 "Miss Acuna" I will have to make the decals. This aircraft was flown by Lt Vic Milam and the Ground crew was S/Sgt Tony Girtman Airman Fred Martin 4025th SRS/ 4080th SRW I will be meeting up with these 3 gents at the end of May in Del Rio Texas It took me about 12 months to find a photo of the camera layout, even the guys in the unit didnt have any. It was a 2 second clip on a DVD. No commerial items at the moment. Going to try and modify the undercarriage as it is not right for a B-57. If I dont suceed I will buy the SAC white metal one when it becomes available..

HI Alan
I know what you're saying about finding information on the PR. B.57's I've only just managed to find out where the camera doors are on the RB.57A, you'd think it would be easy but I guess it's half the fun of it all!

Stunning job Alan - will it be at the Nats ? Haydn. Hayan / John/ Colin Thanks for the kind comments. Not to sure, as I could be in the States again missing my second Nats in a row. 08/08/08 Re-entered the pictures as the pictures reside now on my own web site at a differnet ISP. Picture of my 1/48th Scale "Blackbird" family SR-71/ A-12 / YF-12A
