As I said in my earlier thread, it will improve my motivation to finish this enormous beast if I post a WIP series. Hopefully it will be interesting to everyone else. My intention is to do a Mildenhall-based SR-71A in the later "lo-vis" scheme (ie smaller stars'n'bars and red numbers). I'm using Testors 1:48 kit and a True Details cockpit set.
Anyway, not got very far yet, but let's face it, digging this out of the loft and assembling my references is progress because I've been intending to do it for the last three years at least. So here's the first two shots. Back later when I try and remember to photograph as I go along!
