Dear all,

Have been trying to keep up with what everybody is hoping to have ready for SMW 2008.

Here is the list of both Recce SIG and Avon Branch as I understand it.....

This will no doubt change as time passes, I will try to modify it appropriately as I am made aware of changes.

From my various jottings on different pieces of paper, please if I have missed you off, or your models, please forgive me it is not deliberate ....I know that it is not up to date, so please let me know any additions/deletions or corrections, and I will modify this list to keep it up to date.

Just to let you know, im building the Universal Carrier in 1/35 and the chaffee is needed elsewhere so ill bring along the LRDG in 1/76!!!

Would you mind scratching the Rommel figure. My figure painting skills need a lot more practice before I unleash them onto an unsuspecting SMW. Having second thoughts about the Storch in 1/32 as well. Just had a look at it and it is enormous. I have completed the 126 as you have seen and the Lysander is all but there, the 109 E5 conversion is next on the list and I also have a couple of armour projects to complete although I am still on the lookout for a reasonable Scimitar to model in modern TELIC colours.

As an afterthought, I posed a question regarding RAF letter heights for the serial codes on the sides of aircraft. I have measured the decal which is nuseable and works out at scale 32" although all references to letter codes I can find only refer to 48" codes, my maths wrong or should they be 48" high letters.

1/48th Tornado is fine, I've got one stashed in the Hanger just waiting to join 13 Sqn. As for the Hudson I'll build what ever you're not doing just let me know. I'm changing My to build list a bit, the PR.7 will go on hold as I'm now building a B(I)12 with PR fit, not sure yet if it will be SAAF or Peruvian AF. Also if Airfix get it out in time a Rhodesian/Zimbabwean PR. B.2.
