Is there need for a SiG just for this specialist element of the Military Modelling field? H Volunteers? ... There are several subjects within this particular interest, not just rail guns and locomotives, its a good idea Ian, anyone else?

Well haveing done the civilian type railways for years(oo) and now haveing a G Gauge railway of the olde type(D&RG) and haveing some Civil war wagons and guns of the period, I can see the Interest for some in this and the warrant for a thread on it.
Haveing gone over to mostly Armour now, why not a Tank on a railcart.
Yes there is a need I think, but early day's yet.

Also armoured trains springs to mind, weather 1/35th/0 gauge or maybe 1/72nd/00 gauge. I have made a scratch built Crane and trucks, so may now I have Photoshop be able to show you it if interested. Like I said early days yet, but give it a try for a period and see.
