Hi there. i have been made aware of possible new 1/24 items that Howard at KFS is thinking of producing and thought I would get this out to the wider population so he gets more feedback
The TQ-74 Bedford TM transkit is due for master patterns to be made in March which means release is likely for May or June. This will be the wide cab sleeper version.
We would also appreciate any feed back from customers regarding the idea of some 1/24th scale military kits in resin. These will be complete kits from tyres to aerials, not transkits. What we have in mind if the first one is a success is;- (1st) Alvis Stalwart 6x6 HMLC, then Saladin armoured car, Saracen APC & Humber Pig. Please supply opinions, ideas & any feedback positive or negative on the usual e mail address.

I of course am going to reply with my own preferences as follows: -
1) re-release of the Bedford TM (narrower) military cab, which I have just bought from KFS and looks great.
2) to request a Bedford MK/TK
3) great to see the Stalwart
4) Foden cabs for 8x4 LMLC, wrecker and tanker variants
5) then Saladin armoured car, Saracen APC & Humber Pig
These would all look great beside re-released versions of ESCI Landrover 109' soft-top, paratrooper and safari versions (the last two I now have). Safari kit is out again. Hopefully ESCI will re-release them all.
They would also complement the Leyland/DAF Scammell cab for the DROPS, tanker and tipper and the Scammell Crusader that Howard has already produced.
I think that Howard would have to see a popular demand for the Bedfords and other trucks I want over his new Stalwart, etc. Maybe if all shout loed enough and back it with hard cash, he might be convinced to look into some of these great military workhorses.
What do you think? Send him a note of your thoughts.
I have no connection to KFS, just think his stuff is great and worth the dosh.
