Firstly - which Tamiya 911 is it? If it's the recent 911 Turbo release, then it's a 930 which is an air cooled 3 litre (turbocharged obviously! ;D). There's some good pics of various air cooled motors on; www.albertweb.de/Sonderposten/Motoren.htmAnd the thing with 911 motors is they are really boring & very little can be seen when they're in the car anyway! These engines are also the ones that would be needed in the 911 GT2 release (which is a 993 model) If the model is the 911 GT3 or the basic 911 road car model from about 8 years back, then they are both 996 models, which were the first with water cooled engines, & a good pic can be found here; members.aol.com/jameslook/JamessPowerflow.jpgI found both these by a quick google, but probably have many pics in the pile of Porsche books & mags I have, so if you want anything specific, PM me & I'll have a look for you. Hi Dave - well, I'd forgotten that one! I've had a quick look through my mags, as I'm sure GT Purely Porsche mag did a studio photoshoot of a 98 Evo model (which I *think* had a similar engine/transaxle) but I can't find it at the mo. I did also remember that there was a nice build of the Tamiya kit on the gpma website, & you can find that here; www.gpma.org/Archive/anielsen.htmlI've found a couple of small pics in the 'Porsche in Motorsport - The first fifty years' by Peter Morgan book , but my scanner won't co-operate at the moment. Let me know if you want them & I'll try again tomorrow! ATB Keith

Hi Keith, thanks for the pics, very helpful, if you can find anything that you think would be helpful i would be very grateful, as we senior people seem to be a bit behind the times where kits are concerned, although im waiting for my enzo to arrive, scary, Cheers Dave
