Brabus means about as much to me as "Yr meintyygogogh cymry ww yy spongollysantpontyrdawww"
Its a black thing I leave for dead on any road whatsoever in Britain with the possible exception of the M1 at 3am on Christmas Day.
And thats with my bog standard 800cc Kawasaki.
And why haven't you replied to my recent emails?
Wolfie.
PS Thats Welsh for 'I'm a wanker' but then again so is everything else that looks like that ;D

I use a Sat/Nav sometimes, and found that I was driving over fields, It turned out that the Sat/Nav receivers had not yet been placed on the new highway layout. 'Funny feeling lol', seeing your car flouting in the air, with the womans voice saying recalculate all the time.

I use a Sat/Nav sometimes, and found that I was driving over fields, It turned out that the Sat/Nav receivers had not yet been placed on the new highway layout. 'Funny feeling lol', seeing your car flouting in the air, with the womans voice saying recalculate all the time. I remember an instance a couple of years ago using Satnav. I was driving a rather large truck and looking for a particular company in a maze of back roads, they required the contents of the truck rather urgently. Satnav led me down a rather twisty narrow road, and I started to get a bit twitchy when I spotted a low bridge sign laying on the floor at the side of the lane where some kind person had decided to try and hide it. Not wanting to get myself pinned under a low bridge (yet unseen), I started to reverse back up the lane, only to be met with a rather large truck coming towards me. I got out of the cab and explained the situation to the other driver who agreed that we should reverse back up the track. As our little convoy reversed, we were joined by another truck in front of us who had managed to turn round before the low bridge (now confirmed) and was attempting to make his way back to the main road. Long story short, we had to do a 3 mile detour to get to the other side of the lane and deliver our respective loads, moral of the story, use a map and your instincts and the Satnav as a backup.

I used sat nav in spain this year on the way to Granada....all went well til the sat nav said turn right while the signs said straight on...I turned right.....ended up on top of a new dam johnny foreigner had thrown up.....methinks sat nav in spain not woth a dam (pardon the pun)...due to their habit of building nice new straight pothole free roads at every opportunity...thus rendering said sat nav useless.......
