My WIP for 2008

Right as well as my Show Rod, Truck, and W&G at the movies builds. I am working on these two projects as well and hope to have them finished by the end of the year.

Firstly a Golf mk.2 GTi





and secondly an Evo





I will be taking my time with these and hope you enjoy the progress I make. Update pics will follow as soon as any updates are done.

Looking good Pat, what paints are you using?

Golf is Tamiya Pearlescent blue and the Evo is Halfords VW Stratos blue metallic (I think) and Tamiya semi gloss black with a couple of coats of Tamiya pearlescent clear.

Well I've blown the dust off the evo, finished the interior at SMW '09 then it went back in the box After finding some motivation to start building again at SMW '10 I've raked it out the cupboard/stash and intend to finish it off. I've swapped the wheels for a set of veilsides and as it's a kerbside model I've modified the chassis to get the stance I want.
Will take some pics as soon as it stops raining and post them up along with my VIP build.

Now that I'm doing this kerbside I am attempting to get the right stance for the evo I have changed the wheels again and think these suit it better.




Theres still a fair bit of tweaking required but I think it's getting there slowly.
