But the lens cover for the headlights was a pain but pictures I've found on the web at one stage it had a black cover over them The gearbox etc etc waste of time painting it ..as the exhaust pipes and spare wheel , as all you see is the Tyre Hope that helps

Trick of the light. Although I have picture of a number of cars mid race with front ends held together with Black or Grey Duct Tape, but that's for entirely different reasons.

Just for completions sake, the #21 Ferrari finished second to the red Shelby run Ford GTMk4. I think you can just make out the eventual winner to the right of the start line pic? To the left side is a gold coloured GT Mk2 I think. A quick look up shows the white P3 and gold Mk 2 DNF'd. The pic shows grid positions 6,7,8 and 9. There were a total of 4 P4's a P3 and a P2 entred, along with a variety of other marks in the other classes. I'll take my anorak back off now... Rich

Details: White P3: Number 25, Pedro Rodriguez/Giancarlo Baghetti/Masten Gregory, Ferrari 330P3/412P, North American Racing Team. Nothing much showing on line, I'll need to dig out some books and see what I can find. In the mean time look here www.motorimania.it/pitture/images/a1_Le_Mans_1967.jpgRich
