Hi all, I am about to start to build this kit which was purchased at Telford some years ago......very cheaply !, which of course was followed by hasegawa bringing out their new version shortly afterwards !!!!!. Anyway so far Ive invested in an Aires u/c bay and am looking around for a cockpit detailing /replacement set. I know that Hannats do the True Details version but what is the best version in the humble opinion of fellow listers ??. Cheers Tony

Hi Tony,
A word of advice, buy the Hasegawa new tool and you will save money.Built stock it is accurate and has adequate detail and also is easy to build. The old kit is inaccurate in outline, the wheels are wrong, the cannon covers are the wrong shape,it has raised panel lines and rivets, the prop is shaped wrong and a lot of the detail bits are the wrong type i.e drop tank.If you still want to build the old kit aires and mdc both do very good cockpits and true details do the cannon bay covers, and if you want some wheels I have a spare set you can have.Sorry if this complicates matters but I was in the same boat and just binned the old kit. Cheers Andrew
