Julien,
I made the master for the Heritage PR XIX, and have made 6 of the resin products from them.... all early productions.
What can I say. You have seen some of them at SMW in the last couple of years. Overall I was happy with them as I started out wanting to build a few PR XIX's, so for some one to want to take on production was fine by me, as by why of payment I got half a dozen in return.
The standard was variable, about three were fine, no problem. The others had a variety of problems the worst of which I remember was small bubbles in the wing leading edges which were a bugger to fill and sand. This is a production problem of pouring the resin too fast, and it curing quickly. The wings had a bit of a sag, also a production problem. Hopefully both of these problems have been solved by now.
The one problem that I did find in all, was the standard of the canopies. I ended up using a variety of spares for these. The propeller I found really quite difficult to assemble and ended up building a 'jig' for them. The fit was very good on the master and not bad at all on the resin model.
Hope this helps.
Still have quite a few parts that I no longer need if you want them.
Colin
