Hi guys, thought I'd show you my current (long term) build. I started showing it over on Britmodeller, but for those who don't frequent the forums over there, its here for your delictaion and delight. For those who are familiar with Heritage stuff, this is one big kit - Thats a 1:32nd Hurricane sitting on the box!! Well, I actually started this about a month ago, and decided from the outset to spend alot of time on it and get as much detail in possible. The seat that came with the kit was mis-molded, and although Ian offered to replace it foc, I decided to have a go at scratch building a new one. This is the seat supplied: and this is what I ended up with after 3 1/2 weeks up to my eyeballs in plastic card/wire/spares box refugees and super glue: Its just in primer at the moment and I'll have a go at painting it over the next few weeks. Hope you like it, more to follow soon. Mark

Chadders,
Having scratch built the MB Mk10H seat for my 24th scale SHAR FRS.1, all I can say when I see what you've done is one word - SUPERB!!!
What did you use for the harness straps?
I hope you do 2 castings of it before you do the final painting - one for yourself for that T.5 you know you want to make next! - and one to sell back to Ian Taylor at Heritage: it'll cover some of your initial outlay!
Any thoughts on the colour scheme yet? A Alpha of 23 Sqn with a white spine and tail and natural metal elsewhere maybe???
Good luck, I can't wait to see the rest of it develop!
Nick

Do You have a 1/1 seat in Your hobbyroom?? Wow that is amazing. 3 1/2 weeks, guess some hours each day, 30 plus hours? At least You got the seat finished, but why put it inside a model? It is probably as amazing as the whole Lightning.
