The mock up promised well, and it looked to be a not to difficult build. But then............... First paint job went all wrong. Stripping a resin body, ain't something I dare to use any lubricants doing. Resulting in some sanding, and carefull scrapeing. Sorry to tell a small glip, destroyed some of the left hand side window profiles, and some carefull sanding and reshaping are now the only thing left befor a new layer of primer. The kit it self is a curbside, with shut hood. I opened the hood, and tried some scratchbuilding. I'm actually not 100% satisfied with the details on the firewall, but it has to do, or this build will never see its end. I had to cut the inner wings of the chassis, and fit them to the body, just to ease the work shaping them, and fitting the parts. This is how it is now.

It is 1/24! And the origin are Tapani Rauramo, and Juha Airio. It is a year and a half since the mould was done, and I don't belive it will be easy to get any more from them. I hope Tapani have made me the main parts for one more, I will see this weekend, as I meet him then. They also had the Herald saloon, Volvo P1800, Taunus 17M P3 and Saab 96 V4.
