Anyone know where I can lay my hands on a set of plans for an AEC Mercury?
EDIT Forget the Mercury, its an AEC Monarch Mk III. Still need the drawings though ;D

Been there done that. Even found some I could download. Not the Monarch though, the Matador. Still they might come in handy one day.

Yeah seen those thanks Nick, its measurements I need. Looks like a scratchbuild coming on. I discovered a photo of one as a draywagon for a local brewery and all the alarm bells went off. Dohhhh

Contact the Coventry Transport Museum or the Heritage Centre at Gaydon.

Have you tried the Commercial Vehicle Museum at Leyland? If you can get one of the curators on the phone they are amazingly helpful.
