[glow=red,2,300]BOOM!![/glow] Now you've gone and done it. That has been a real bone of contention for a number of years. General consensus is we're sticking with it as it stands. H

Guys,
The Exec have already discussed this some years ago and although not immediately obvious, our branding reflects the subtle changes in 'plastic' kit ingredients.
Our branding refers to us as 'IPMS (UK) - the Society for Scale Modellers'
This is in part to reflect the kits in some scale modelling areas (white metal cars and figures for example) that have long been used in our hobby. Equally, the increased use of photo-etch materials as major components in other genres needs to be reflected.
Witness the 'O' Gauge locomotive that Fatty wrote about in one of last year's magazine issues.
Regards, John

Why not just remove it entirely?? We're all modellers.
International Modellers Society. IMS.
We were going to mention this as many truck models are entirely white metal kits now.

Let's just leave it as it is eh? ... The IPMS started life here and is now a world wide organisation, why fix it if it isn't broke?
