Ayup folks ... can anyone tell me if the following are produced in kit form in 1:35 scale? ... M332 Ammo trailer and 155mm Howitzer field gun (not the long tom) ... need both for a diorama ...

Managed to find a kit of the 155 Howitzer at SMW, it's the 1:35 scale MAX kit, metal barrel and working recoil mechanism, marvellous !! ... just one in the whole show.

OK, now I've got the kit, need a few shots of the weapon in service, especially Vietnam ! .. also the colour scheme !!

Hi Nick, Squadron Signal Ground War in Vietnam Vol 2 has 2 colour pictures. Pages 36 & 40. Vol 1 has a b/w pic on page 54 and War in Laos again by Squadron Signal has a colour drawing on the front cover. Could try and scan them if you want. Nice to meet you at smw by the way. Andy.

Cheers mate, they're fine. The gun assembly is just about finished, looks like the barrel can either be finished polished or painted, so ... may just paint the whole piece olive drab and weather it, apart from the rear of the barrel near the breech which would probably be polished anyway.
