Barv,
It's only a thought, but those Chieftain turrets on the Cent hulls - that's a mighty big 'driver's hatch' on the front of the Cent in the first picture. Do you reckon these are an attempt at Vismod Soviet SP guns?
Cheers, John

Yeah they were having an open day the day I went cos it was half term. I got there early, but by lunchtime I was well peed off with kids running all over so to be honest when the call went out for the show out in the field and the place emptied, I took the opportunity to take in the rest of the museum in peace. It only lasted about half an hour anyway. Any photo requests?, I took quite a few and some for possible modelling purposes at a later date. Wolfie.

If you are down in Dorset the firing range at Tyneham is open on most weekends. The dates and some history about Tyneham village are here. www.isleofpurbeck.com/tyneham.htmlThe village was taken over by the Army in 1943 and a lot of the houses still survive. The tanks in my first picture are in the centre. One of the houses in the village. Andy
