I just spent a week in Dorset and saw the tank shooting ranges on the Isle of Purbeck. I took some piccies of the wrecked tanks they shoot at too.
I also went to the Tank Museum at Bovington. What a fascinating place. Loads of interesting tanks from WWI onward. I have been tempted enough to attempt to build one or two. I took 100 pics LOL.
Wolfie.

Nice one Wolfie.
I am lucky to be down and near this great museum and if your lucky a real show with real tanks etc running around.
Our club go there regular at least once a year. it is being refurbished and so at the moment you will not see all of it.
Look forward to the pictures though Wolfie mate ;D.

Eh? ? Explanations pls grrrrrrrr. You tank lads are clearly slacking. If one of you came into the trucking world we'd explain what a pogo stick dolly was instead of just pointing at it Oh yeah, and which one's which?

So a Chieftain and a Centurion are pretty much identical then except for a few assorted boxes which in this case might have been shot off?
Which one came first?

Thats correct Wolfie, if you look at a Centurion from this direction and also A chieftain, they look the same because the bottom half are near as damit identical with exception of the front and turret. So easy to mistake them, especially if camouflaged or in as this case side on, but if you look at the second picture down on your first lot of pictures, then this could be construed as a Centurion, note the Turret hatch and the bin on the left side were as the third has none, so this is a Chieftain oops should have looked closer . But in your last two pictures Centurion top and Chiefy bottom, the Centurion turret was higher due to the raised engine deck and exhaust on the sides, but Chiefy had different engine and exhaust system, plus better shaped turret, but I believe the same type of gun and wheel configuration. The sprocket was the same also Centurion came first. I have even been run over by the Centurion in a trench(was by a tree), so helped to stop to much damage. ;D Do not ask any more on modern vehicles, as this gets as modern as my grey cells will allow.
