Is there a kit of this car? I own a Mk3 and I would love to make a model of her.

Kev, There is a 1/32 Spitfire and a GT6, both from a US manufacturer whose name escapes me at the mo. Be prepared for a nasty suprise on the price though.

There was a not very good Triumph GT6 in 1/24th scale by Pyro (I think). Hope you have a deep pocket as its a bit collectable now. Not aware of a Triumph Spit in plastic however.

If you can live with a simple strip and respray I believe the TSSC offer die casts in most of the sports models. I'll admit the model version would be miles easiers to restore.. (mk IV 1300 in Magenta here...)

I'll add my name to the list of Triumph owning modellers then. MkIV Spit - daily driver and late MkIII GT6 - Summer use only (not tax exempt) I have the Lindberg GT6+ in my stash, bought it from ebay USA when the pound was very strong! I have been thinking about making a start on the kit but it will take a lot of work to make a decent model out of it. Incidentally, the GT6+ is the US equivalent to a UK spec MkII. Another downside is the Lindberg kit is LHD. A lot of work.
Steve.

I am pretty sure the Lindberg kit is a reboxing of the Pyro original (could that be the other way round) TSSC have the kit in one of their display cabinets, same sprues but I think it is the Pyro box. Steve.
