Dear All, OK, I know maybe I have got caught up in the novelty of discovering how to put photos on the forum.. But have enjoyed doing the Korpen build and Canberra PR9. Not finished yet... Been having a look at 'Britmodeller' more and more... Lots of interesting builds and stuff over there.... Lots of photo builds and reference photos............ Any body fancy putting more photos and tips on here...  I for one I am going to have a go at recording what I am doing, not only because it is entertaining for me, but it might help others or give inspiration... Upcoming build is going to be the single most expensive kit I have ever bought. The RVHP kit of the R99. £130 of resin......... Having restless nights justifying it to myself. But seeing as I have committed myself to it, you may as well see how well it goes..... Colin |

Colin, don't let the novelty wear off ..... Most interesting and motivating to see such photo-builds and certainly an asset - just look at the number of "hits" on the subjects. And not getting much direct feedback seems normal - can speak from experience from contributing on www.ipms.at and ipms.ch ..... Good to find recce related WIP posts here and not on lively Britmodeller (even if Britmod is superb) - much easier to keep track ! just keep going  Rolf |

Rolf, Thanks for that, I will indeed carry on with the photo builds, in the hope that others can learn from my mistakes, as I have learnt from others. To all recce fans,
Please consider taking pictures, noting details and reference of your recce builds and mods ....
Even if you wouldn't want to do a "photo build" I might be interested in featuring such "reports" for the airreccemodels website hopefully to be realised later (LATER) this year !

Ayup folks, I've been thinking about this topic, not just for the Photo-Recce, but photo builds in general throughout the site. I think the topic requires a little more exposure than just on the forum. I'll post further with a couple of ideas I've had later tonight.

Thanks for that, you have helped me make up my mind what I am going to do with my G 91, when I get round to it....
I can feel a Luftwaffe theme coming on, just got to get another 1/48 RF 84 and an RF 104G......

Rolf, basically it will be a normal web page sectioned into possibly three columns across, each detailing a different build. I'll wait for a bit of input first, possibly put up a page over the weekend and choose two or three builds to feature. |
