Alfie,

I am currently building a batch of diferent versions of the AEW Skyraider in various scales, in my reserach I have discovered that the IPMS USA Magazine ran two articles on the AD-5W Skyraider in July 1981 and March 1983. Can you tell me does the IPMS Library hold copies of these two magazines please?

I have tried to post a request on the USA IPMS website but they restrict (unlike ours that accepts guests) access to fully paid up members of their IPMS only (so much for "International").

Ayup Ian,

The IPMS (USA) site is a members' only facility, therefore, only members of IPMS (USA) have access. This site does not demand full IPMS membership in order to be a member here. Incidentally, I have removed your other post as it was simply a duplicate of this one.

I've had a look through what I have in the house, and the answer is no. If TAS does have a copy of those particular magazines then they will buried at the back of my garage (and unavailable).

There have been other Skyraider AEW magazine articles:

I'll put your request in my next magazine column, which I'm in the process of writing today (the 2nd). Please let me know exactly what it is that you are searching for and I'll try and help you further. I hope to have a definitive answer to your cockpit question in the near future (as soon as a friend of a friend goes and looks at the preserved aircraft at the FAAM).

Exactly what information are you hoping to glean from these articles that you don't already have? Would the other magazine articles have the same information?

can anyone help with photos or imformation on the interior of the AVRO 641 commodore cabin biplane , i have an exterior photo in a book Aircraft Of the British Empire showing G-ACNT but no interior shots
