Dear All,
Been doing a bit of research, seems to be version of Beechcraft Super King Air 350, longer fuselage, more windows, more powerful engines, with four blades, winglets.
With all the Recce bits added... Aerials and 'bulges'...
More to come as I find it.
Am determined to try and do model...

Hi Colin I took the following pictures on 11th December last year. Although they're not the best quality, they do show some of the salient features of the aircraft. Hope they're of interest. Chris

Chris,
Thank you very much for that... An intriguing aircraft and potential model, would be very interested in any more photos/information you come across.
Anything I can help you with at all..?

I have an interest in all things equipped with extra 'bumps and bulges'.... An antenna farm definitely draws my interest! I guess that brings me into the Recce fold.
I'm sure you'd be able to help me with lots of info. on a variety of aeroplanes - the only trouble is that I never seem to find any time for building models.
As for more pics and info. on the Shadow - I'm afraid I only have the photographs I take myself.

Ay up Rolf - you may be thinking of the Pilatus U-28 on our wesbite ? At least when you said USAF SIG it made take a look here - I always tend to think in US military designations !
Colin - I have built a straight C-12F from the RVHP kit and it goes together quite nicely. The only problem was the vacform cockpit transparency being slightly wider than the fuselage.
Cheers,
Haydn.

Haydn,
Looking at the £129 R 99, I have, that was one thought I had. sanding the fuselage too much so the vacform canopy doesn't fit. Wondered if whether the same would apply to the Beech 350, same construction I thought.
Thank you for that Haydn, any other comments? After all they are not cheap kits to find these faults for yourself.... And anything that helps me, might help others as well.

Hi Colin,
Nothing really to add. I have also built their RC-26B and that again was a nice kit but had the same problem with the transparency. Just a pity they are so expensive as I woul dlike to build more of them !

Haydn,
many thanks for chipping in - you are right, I mixed it up with the PC-12 / U-28 from Chris but
I knew there was some connection with C-12 and usafsig - admired your model most probably at SMW in 2007 ? - or am I having a senior moment ?
Thanks and good modelling, Rolf

Dear All,
Hell, going to do it.
Going to order Beech 350 and have a go at conversion, cannot resist all those 'lumpy bumpy' bits.....
GR1, if interested in joining the dark order and communing with like minded others who are into lumps/bumps/aerials, feel free to PM me.

Dear All, Recently noticed registrations and differences... G-OTCS, aka , ZZ419, Is different from, G-JENC, aka, ZZ416 Both seemingly based upon the Beech King Air 350ER, but different in configuration. Look at rear fuselage... Both have the same engine fairing of the ER version, but seemingly not the same mission equipment... Any body got any thoughts or ideas.... Colin
