Anyone got any good info about the 'Pig Bus' as it was nicknamed? Does anyone know if there is a preserved example anywhere in the UK?

Ayup Noel, I rode on one of these buses at a museum in the UK some years ago, but for the life of me I can't remember where. Amberley Chalk Pits spring to mind, they have a fleet of restored Southdown buses, I've just looked at their web site but there's no mention of a TN6.

Hi Noel If you still have it, check out IPMS Magazine 1/83 in which there is a page an a half of build notes. I seem to remember similar in Scale Models about the same time?
I have yet to extract the Scale Models details from my archives, but I have (literally) dug out the IPMS one.
Cheers Rich

Thanks for the leads guys. It's been some time since I looked at this thread. I think possibly the IPMS article and the Scale Models articles may have been written by David Jane an ex President of IPMS. Mentioning them jogged my memory. I think I may have the old copy of Scale Models somewhere as I have all the Ron Moulton and Ray Rimmell era issues. Also thanks guys for the website links you all posted.

I found David Jane's 2 part article in Scale Models Mag Dec 83 and Jan 84. He picked up that Heller had forgotten the fuel tank on this kit. David's article is very comprehensive and recommended for anyone who might build this kit.
