just a small review on the 1/48 unicraft herti uav. well if you want a lot of work for your £28 then you've got it, i got this one sight unseen and it not good . the resin is a poor cast with lots of air bubbles, front end profile is way to slim , engine profile is way off mark, tail planes a poor fit and hard to correct on the tail boom, odd lumps and bumps wrong size and shapes, engine size and shape way off, cooling intake is the wrong shape size and is represented as a grill and no undercarriage i could go on but i think that its best to say this adds up to a 2.99 kit not a 28 the only good bit is the CD but that just helps you see all the inaccurate parts , I'm well aware that this a short run type of thing but i could of scratched one up more accurate in my lunch time . well done to unicraft for making odd subjects but please a little more time in making the master sorry but it gets a £28 thumbs down from me.

Here's a challenge ... build the kit as a WIP on here, document everything and get it into the IPMS Magazine. I was once asked to build a model of the Titanic, well, long story short, the kit from the hull upwards was well over scale and an absolute joy (not) to build. It took me just over two years to complete, with a short period in the hands of a professional model builder who gave it back to me as a lost cause. After finally building the ship and handing it over, I received a phone call within half an hour informing me that as the recipient placed the model in its display cabinet, he inadvertently snapped the foremast and wondered if I'd like to repair it ... snazzzzzzzznnnnnnnnnnnfrazzzzzzzzzzzzznnnnnn! The moral, persevere, you've laid out £28 for what sounds like a door stop, don't let it beat you, it's only a kit?

Thanks for posting this, tiggs63. You've had something of a trial but at least you've saved a few of us from repeating the experience... That's one of the good things about the forum and, I agree with Nick, sharing this in the IPMS Mag would be a useful exercise. It'd be good to have a build article that isn't to the usual 'format'!
Not sure I'd have stretched to £28 but now I know I don't need to....
