Came across this shot whilst idly scanning negs and waiting for paint to dry. Part of a series of shots that I took of a T22 "walkaround" at Leuchars many moons ago:- Question:- How many variants of the Canberra had vortex generators fitted apart from the well known PR9 and now the T22 ? Dennis

Dennis,
I trawled through Barry Jones book's photos and they look to be pretty rare, apart from PR9s and T22s as you say.
I found two photos of T4s with them, but some without, and some of the trials a/c seem to be fitted with them, notably the B6 Spectre rocket test bed.
The dark painted ones are very difficult to check as you can't see the generator's shadows, but as far as I could see none of the USAF B-57s ever had them, nor any of the early B2s, B6s, PR3s or PR7s either.

Thanks for that Kit, I must check the rest of my negs/pics/slides. Its amazing what you find out after all these years. thanks again Dennis
