Hi All,
I'm getting a bit concerned as I have tried 3 different model shops in my local area in a effort to buy a large bottle of Tamiya acrylic paint thinners. Two of them have come up with the same story that there won't be any large bottles until Christmas because the EU Labelling on the last lot they sent over was wrong and it had to be withdrawn!
All well and good but the little jars at £1.30 or more a throw (if you can find it) is getting beyond a joke. As some one who airbrushes predominantly Tamiya Acrylics I don't fancy buying a new range of paints. Does anyone know what else Tamiya paints can be thinned with sucessfully? And where you get it from?
Hoping for some positive answers.
Ian S.

Isopropyl Ian? ... readily available, I don't know what different chemistry is involved though?

Don't know if it's changed, but the thinners used to be a 50/50 mix of isopropyl-alcohol and water; always seemed an expensive way to buy tapwater, somehow. Edgar
