Hi I I started a new rail build at the Model Railway show last weekend , it will be a gutterwagan used by the German Red Cross in WW2 . I am using the chassis from a dragon kit and the body will be scratchbuilt using the water filter rivets for bolt heads . I will post up photos soon . cheers ian

Hi all A Disaster , I turned round in the workshop and dislodged the top of new a pot of liquid polly all over the two wagon sides . Due to the fumes and Melt down I had to vacate in a rush , I was left with a puddle of plastic . I will have to start all over again cheers ian

Oh piffle. You have my most since sympathy as one who has done it several times (roughly every time I open a new bottle).
May be a liitle late to suggest this, but had you thought of gluing the top from a tin of hairspray to a 6" ceramic tile? The bottle of poly sits in quite nicely and it is much more stable. Cost me a tin of hairspray and a tile but saved me a fortune in liquid poly!
