Hi Roger I believe the 1/32 Revell Seafire MkIB which is currently available features the same parts as the original Mk1?

Roger Both the Revell 1/32 Spitfire and Hurricane kits are OOP. the Spitfire does come up at times on Evilbay, but they fetch a high price. It's probably worth checking round, I found one at a reasonable price for a recent build www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/view/20108221The Hurricane is back on Revell pending releases at the end of the year, hopefully it will be revamped as the old kit was in need of it. I have 2 in my stash, but neither are the BOB version which I'm hoping will be the re-released version. As for the Seafire, don't do it. I have the now (OOP I believe) but recent blue box version of which many can often be found on Ebay (probably because they opened the box!! ) It has more flash than Sainsbury's It the really old Revell kit and it looks like the molds got no prep before they were used to repunched them (in a awful white hard plastic) and stuck in new boxes. (very disapointing and not high on my build list at all, and hidden at the back of the stash in the hope I forget it, or never come to it!) Hope this helps Dave

Dave,
Thanks for the warning and info, I Heard rumours sone while ago that a 1/32 hurricane was on the cards. I,m trying to set up a small doiarama with 109s and aliied aicraft for the battle of france, BOB and north africa. north africa and battle for france are easy enough, but trying to find a 1/32 RAF bob - well near impossible. plea to kit maufactures - a hurrincane MK 1 or early MK 11, Spitfire, blenhiem and defiant please! not that I,m being greedy of course! By the way , If you get the chance to purchase the Eduard 109E, go for it, its pricey, but everything you need (and more) is in the box- I have just finished my second, absolutley superb

I doubt I will return to the E as i have over 150+ kits in the stash demanding attention so I've limited my buying list to about 10 kits I really want. However if one comes up cheap, and i have ther money!!! who knows. Dave
