Hi. Have just received my 1/48 scale Japanese Kurogane small car and Motor cycle with side car. This comes with Four figures that can be modeled in different postures, ie- hats or helmets standing or sitting and with varies weapons, looks a nice little set for military or other arms of the Japanese service. Mine will go with my assortment of Diorama's I am building of Japanese subjects in the pacific. Hope to have some pictures later.

Presumably you got the Hasegawa kit below. Have you made a start yet? How did it go, any photos? I know there's a kit with a 1:48 Kurogane and a large truck, as well as the fuel truck kit below. Either or both may be on my shopping list at some point during the year, I'd be interested to get feedback your kit.

Hi Loiner.
Yes the car and MC are very good as you know, I am building the Kurogane and the two trucks, one the re fueler and the other the cargo truck.
The Kuronane car I have nearly finished and the two trucks about halfway through.
Not started the Car/MC kits yet. 'I like you', am using these kits for Dioramas with Japanese aircraft kits.
Will take some pictures soon and display here, but busy with other projects at the mo.
As for the kits them selves they are very good and go together well, you get two or three figures, a driver and others so plenty to be used with any Dioramas.

Heres what I have done so far, still have not started the Kug/MC kits yet. The Kug you see is from another kit that came with the cargo and Aircraft, so have two to build, the other will be different from this one. As you can see the Kug has been weathered and the others have not yet, also have the decals figure to finish/weather.

Well have moved on a bit with the Kug and MC. Had a look, sprayed the fret with basecoat/Khaki(waterbased)this after washing the plastic. Both the MC and the Kugorane, are very nice models, have fitted mudguard to frame that fits mainframe of sidecar, I will be mounting the main sidecar to squarish frame before mounting on the wheeled chassis, this so it will lineup on completion of the MC its self. Hope to have some pictures soon.

Moveing on, I have started the Japanese Motorcycle combination, and its a very good kit with everything fitting well. I have done the basic colour and have yet to do the figures, but so far its been a pleasure to build. Have assembled the sidecar base to the Bike and started the Kugarone car.

The decals are very good with this kit and plenty to choose from.

Here I have started the figures, found the MC riders arm on the right as you look at it did not line up with handles, so used another arm from the same kit and the arm that was from this rider went to the officer rideing in the side car, as you see it makes no difference. Heres a better look.
