Hi all this is the next stage , the painting of the paving slabs , each is treated as a seperate exersise , by this I mean I mix the colour on the slab its self , I used acrylics for this . I found by accident if you wipe a damp cloth over about an hour after they have dried it blends in the colours better . cheers ian

Hi all , final update for a bit , I have to build the flack gun and light machine gun kits to add to the wagon . Also add a load for sitting on the platform. I am thinkning of a stack of jerry cans and ammo boxes . The tip I found for using the grass from Tremendus . It to cut a section of plastic card to fit the area to be covered . Then glue the grass mat to this , and trim the height of the grass and colour it with acrylics. I use the end of my finger to smear the paint on . One colour over an other to blend them in. By glueing onto the plastic you end up with neat edges and when dry I just super glued it into place . The track bed was new cat litter super glued on and stained with a dirty wash of paint; to mute the colours . cheers ian

Hi all , slight update , I started on the lower running gear today , I mixed up gloss black , matt brown and added silver , then loads of turps to produce a wash . It looked too dark at first but as it dried I was pleased with the result. Then onto the wooden sides I intend it to look worn and battle scared . Photos soon cheers ian
