Sean,
Should have them on Friday or next Mon depending whether we have our usual Parcelforce driver or not & I'll be charging £120ish. Here's a quick rundown of what you get 330 parts, all bodywork opens as in the real car, working steering, gear lever, toggle switches its all wired and comes with some sort of material -for seats?
Steve

The auction is still running but the link is not complete. The only way I could access it was to copy and paste into my browser bar.
Sitting at 1 bid on £84.99 with a tenner postage. I wonder if the ebay numptys will push it over the RRP, like they usually do lol.
Steve.

Here are a few pics of the new Trumpeter 1/12 GT40. Initial thoughts are very nice kit, loads of P/E, lovely crisp mouldings, tyres look good and have sponge liners! Nice touches like metal tyre valves. The orange packets contain metal parts and screws etc. Compression fittings are finely moulded and satin chrome plated (a touch of clear blue and clear red will look good on these) Braided lines are included and there is masses of plumbing included. Bonnet clips have seperate 'R' clips and look like they actually operate, even the engine cover has the arrestor wires with P/E loops. Many of the parts are pre painted and some of the parts are part painted and part bare plastic. Anyway, I am sure all those that buy and see this kit will have their own opinions, enjoy the pics. Regards, Steve. UPDATE: Trumpeter have completely omitted the ignition system so a dizzy will have to be scratch built

Ref 1/12 scale GT40's Have a look at Creative Miniature Associates website. They make a Muli Medium kit of the GT40. Looks great. Mega bucks I'll bet though!

Just had a look at the kit. One thousand, six hundred dollars!! Still, there a few nice ref pics for the Trumpy kit? Looks like I'll have to keep on saving. Hold on, you can get a decent used hot hatch for less money, lol. The Trumpeter version will have to suffice until the lottery numbers come up. Cheers, Steve.
